“We promise to care for you and your future the way you care for your patients.”
Will Humphreys | Founder and Chief Rockstar
Scale Your Practice. Protect Your People.
Tearing down the paper walls of an industry-wide paradox
Our founder, Will Humphreys, has built and operated multiple PT clinics since 2002. Like many practice owners, he assumed growth would mean choosing between improving the patient experience and increasing margins and freedom.
From paradox to opportunity, Will created Rockstar to reframe what’s possible in healthcare: to understand profitability and patient care as aligned outcomes vs. opposing forces. When both are built intentionally, owners scale not only their practices, but also their global impact.
Rockstar has since helped hundreds of private practices scale sustainably through virtual assistants specialized to reduce overwhelm in healthcare while strengthening the operational backbone behind exceptional patient care.

Frequently
Asked Questions
Does the rebrand change anything about my job?
No. Your role, your practice partner, and your day-to-day work stay the same. This is about how Rockstar looks and talks about itself, not a change to your placement.
Will my pay, benefits, or schedule change because of this?
No. Nothing about your pay, benefits, or schedule is tied to the rebrand. If any of that ever changes, it'll come from the Rockstar contact directly, not through a logo update.
Should I update my resume or LinkedIn to say Rockstar instead of Virtual Rockstar?
You can. It's the same company and the same role, just under the fuller name. Use whichever feels right, though Rockstar is the name we're building toward going forward.
Does this affect the VA Academy or my training?
No. The VA Academy keeps running the same way, supporting your growth and your skills. If anything, the rebrand reflects how much Rockstar has invested in that side of the business, not a pullback from it.
Why is the company changing its name if my job stays the same?
Because the company around you has grown. Three years ago, Rockstar placed VAs. Now there's AI solutions, credentialing, a partner ecosystem, and a bigger community layer, including you. The name is catching up to what Rockstar actually is, which includes the work you're already doing.
Will I see different branding in materials I use, like training docs or VA Academy content?
Over time, yes. You'll start seeing the updated look across Rockstar materials. The substance underneath stays the same.
Who do I ask if I have questions about how this affects me specifically?
Your Rockstar contact. They know your placement and can answer anything that's specific to you.
Will anything about my current partnership change?
No. Your VA, your contact, your day-to-day setup all stay exactly as they are. The rebrand is about how we present what Rockstar has become, not a restructuring of existing partnerships.
Will I see new branding, like a new logo or colors?
Yes. You'll start seeing the updated Rockstar look across our website, emails, and materials. Your VA and your service stay the same underneath it.
Do I need to update anything on my end, like contracts or billing information?
If anything requires action from you, your contact will reach out directly with specifics. Until you hear that, there's nothing to do.
What's actually new that I get access to as a current partner?
Rockstar Credentialing and the Partner Portal are launching soon, and as a current partner you'll get early access. The Free You Up Community and global giving program are also part of the bigger Rockstar picture you're already part of.
Who do I talk to if I have questions about how this affects me specifically?
Email us directly at hello@rockstarglobal.com. Add us to your contacts so our emails don't get filtered out.
Will my VA or my service change because of the rebrand?
No. Your VA, your point of contact, and how we work together stay the same. The rebrand reflects what Rockstar has grown into around that core service, not a change to it.
Are there new offerings I should know about because of this?
Yes. Rockstar Credentialing and the Proprietary Partner Portal are part of the expanded Rockstar vision and are launching soon. Ask your contact to get you on the list early.
Will contracts, invoices, or login systems change?
Any changes to paperwork or systems will come directly from your contact with clear instructions. Nothing changes without you hearing it from us first.
Does the rebrand affect the timeline for my onboarding?
No. Onboarding moves on its own timeline regardless of where things stand with the rebrand rollout.
Why should I trust a company that's still figuring out its own identity?
We're not figuring out who we are. We're three years and roughly 300 team members and 175 partners into proving it. The rebrand is a name catching up to results that already exist.
Did Virtual Rockstar change its name?
We started as Virtual Rockstar, a VA staffing company. Three years in, the work had grown past staffing alone. AI solutions, credentialing, a partner ecosystem, a real community. The name became Rockstar to match what we'd actually built.
Is this a different company than the one I might have heard about before?
Same company, same founder, same promise. The mission expanded. The name caught up to it.
What does Rockstar do that the Virtual Rockstar didn't?
Everything the original did, plus more. We still place healthcare-fluent VAs. We've added AI solutions, end-to-end credentialing, a partner discount ecosystem, and a global giving program tied to every partnership.
Does the rebrand mean pricing or services are changing for new partners?
No. What you see today is what you get. The expanded offerings, like credentialing, are additions, not replacements.
Why does the name matter if the service is the same?
Because what started with one phone call and one hire turned into something that reaches further than a staffing placement. The name reflects that scope honestly instead of underselling it.
Is the name changing? Is it still Virtual Rockstar?
The name is Rockstar now. What started as a VA staffing company outgrew that original name as the mission expanded.
Did Rockstar change? Are you a different company now?
No. Same founder, same team, same promise: we care for you and your future the way you care for your patients. Three years in, the work had grown past the original container of a VA staffing company. Now, we build AI solutions, handle credentialing end to end, run a partner ecosystem, and hold a community with real layers, VAs through the VA Academy, practice owners through the Free You Up Community, and a global giving program tied to every partnership.
That shift became clear after we placed our 300th VA across more than 170 private practices. A great hire wasn't enough on its own anymore, so we built the Freedom Engine: VA-led work, supercharged with AI.
I'm a current partner. Does this change anything about how we work together?
Nothing changes on your end. Your VA, your contact, your day-to-day, all of it stays exactly the same. We just gave the brand a new look. Your partnership isn't going anywhere.
What does the new brand actually stand for? What changed about the mission or values?
The mission and the promise haven't changed: hire rockstar talent, curate AI solutions, improve operational efficiency, and free up cash flow for the practices we partner with. The five values stay the same too: empathy, courage, fun, teamwork, trust. What's different is the scope behind those words. We're no longer just VA placement. We're operational infrastructure for private practices, with AI, credentialing, a partner ecosystem, and a community built around staying in it with you.
The look and feel is different. What drove those creative decisions?
Orange carries the energy and forward motion that's always been core to Rockstar. Blue signals trust and intelligence, which is why it shows up as the AI and partnership color. Putting them together reflects both sides of what we deliver: the people and the technology. The typography and overall feel were built to match that, confident and modern without losing the warmth that's always set Rockstar apart.
Are you expanding beyond physical therapy, OT, and speech therapy?
Right now, our focus stays with private practice owners in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. If that scope changes down the line, your contact will be the first to tell you.
What's actually new? Not just the logo, what's new in the business?
AI solutions are now part of what we curate alongside VA placement. Rockstar Credentialing and the Proprietary Partner Portal are launching soon. The partner discount ecosystem connects you with marketing, consulting, and growth experts. And the community side has grown into three real layers: the VA Academy, the Free You Up Community, and a global giving program tied to every partnership. None of that fits the original "VA staffing company" label anymore, which is part of why the name changed too. We also built the Freedom Engine: work led by a VA, supercharged with AI, built to solve specific problems that grow your income, impact, and freedom instead of just checking off tasks.
What's the Freedom Engine?
It's how Rockstar works now. A VA leads the work, and AI supercharges it, so instead of just getting help with tasks, you get help solving the specific problems standing between you and more income, more impact, and more freedom.
How do I talk about this to my team or colleagues who also know Rockstar?
Keep it simple: same Rockstar, same team, same promise, bigger name because the work outgrew the old one. If they ask what's actually different, point them to the AI solutions, credentialing, and community pieces. If they ask if anything changes for them day to day, the answer is no.
